Water access properties are those that do not have actual frontage on
a body of water, but that have access either through public ground or
corporate ground, such as Avista Corporation's property between the
Noxon Rapids Reservoir of the Clark Fork River and those properties
downstream of the Thompson Falls dam. You may apply for a permit for
a dock on the Avista property and we would encourage you to speak directly
with Avista regarding this process.
Other water access properties are secondary lots in a subdivision that
do not have frontage but have access to the water via a park or designated
waterfront area for the use of the lot owners. These are indicated below
as secondary lots.
